i dont know where that is but i am guessing it is in China or Korea or sumin, they got everything in terms of technology so it comes as NO surprise.
but i bet Japan has sumin even better.

nah not a millionaire, businesses can get OC.
a home user can pay something like £300's a month for OC and it will come WITHOUT a fair usage policy and NO download limits.
and i am not making that up, just incase you thought i was.

@jaysfan the gig thing wont start cus once it goes commercial, everyone will want it and competition will start and prices will go low and low and more and more people will be getting it and then they will start to clog up the whole system, thats why the damn thing so expensive, and the reason why countries like japan and korea and china have 250 meg boradband is because they went and bothered to set up a infustucture that can host that kind of speed and power commercialy.
and if the whole thing is clogged up it will be like regular boradband, know what i mean.
    its common sense realy.

Yep, unlike most western countries, Asian countries have no qualms in investing in the future, the (South) Koreans love their electronic technology & embrace its' capabilities, instead of shying away from it. Western society could learn a lot from these places.
Western governments will only invest on the short term (all down to politics & short term governments), as projects like the above can be expensive in the short term (Extremely advantageous in the long term) & can cost precious votes. This is why governments are so short sighted, all down to winning over the voters!

@ necroviz & Myst3rio, take a look at the very first post by Nephilim, one of the mods. You will see that there are restrictions as to the size of sigs. Both of yours are above the limit, if you want to stay here, then I suggest you modify them to comply with the regs. Otherwise you may get banned.

Just some friendly advice to make your stay at Afterdawn a pleasant one. There are some great guys & gals here, you can learn loads & teach loads!

    BTW, welcome!
