right now i would lean towards a ram problem. remove all cards & ram except for videocard & 1 stick of ram & reseat both of those. if still getting problem, try the other stick or other ram.
got new mobo put it in and it starts up, then shuts off and system speaker goes on and does this weird beeping noise (high pitched beep....low pitched beep...repeating)
hobo, check that the cmos jumper is in the right spot. try with 1 stick of ram & a videocard whether pci or agp as it doesn't matter. try another psu.
checked it, when its in the right spot it does what i told u be4 and when its in the 'clear' position it doesnt even turn on... done. same results. done comp wont even turn on with new psu.
hey do u think my psu isnt powerful enough? i just thought about this... what would the correct size (in watts) be for: abit kw7 motherboard amd athalon 2400+ 2.00 ghz processor 2x 120 gb maxtor hdd 2x 512 mb sticks of ram 2x 80mm case cooling fans 2x front LED lights (came with case) radeon 9550 128mb graphics card memorex dvd burner thanks again guys for all ur help.
