another problem please help FAST

    right now i would lean towards a ram problem. remove all cards & ram except for videocard & 1 stick of ram & reseat both of those. if still getting problem, try the other stick or other ram.

    got new mobo put it in and it starts up, then shuts off and system speaker goes on and does this weird beeping noise (high pitched beep....low pitched beep...repeating)

    Yeah that does sounda little risky. I'll stick to "air in the can" and a cloth

    hobo, check that the cmos jumper is in the right spot. try with 1 stick of ram & a videocard whether pci or agp as it doesn't matter. try another psu.

    checked it, when its in the right spot it does what i told u be4 and when its in the 'clear' position it doesnt even turn on...

    done. same results.

    done comp wont even turn on with new psu.

    take the motherboard out of the case but still able to use the psu. might have a grounding problem.

    hey do u think my psu isnt powerful enough? i just thought about this... what would the correct size (in watts) be for:

    abit kw7 motherboard
    amd athalon 2400+ 2.00 ghz processor
    2x 120 gb maxtor hdd
    2x 512 mb sticks of ram
    2x 80mm case cooling fans
    2x front LED lights (came with case)
    radeon 9550 128mb graphics card
    memorex dvd burner
