Hi i am new to the forum but have been lurking and reading tons of info this is a great forum. Anyways i have been having problems flashing updated firmware onto my new 108 and couldnt find any answer so i contacted Pioneer and found out that if u have a unit that is black the firmware update on the US site will not work for the drive, however u can update it on the Japaneese site here is a link: http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/dev00001r_e.html#firmware1 Make sure to choose the 108-BK download, run, and bingo updated firmware to ver 1.14. Just thought id pass it on to any others who may be as frustrated as i was trying to install the stuff. Bill
