    Hello,

I am using the most recent version but Windos Security Alerts says that "Virus Protection is Off".

    Running XP 2P

    Any ideas?

Try uninstalling & re-installing AntiVir or check in Security Center (if AntiVir works ok) that you supervise your antivirus program yourself (I don't know if that phrase is 100 % correct, my Win XP is finnish :).

    Hello Kemisti,

After trying differetn routes I ended up uninstalling Antivir and re-installing my good old AVG. Antivir was not working in full force.
