Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....... *sigh* my side hurts.... You just listed Mark Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure with a bunch of *good* games... rofl. That game was HORRIBLE! lol. Wait? Are you a masocist maybe? rofl.
getting up was a great game but shouldnt be on the list for one reason, its not online. i would choose battlefield2 counterstrike WoW Guild Wars( if u are beginning in mmo's) F.E.A.R And whoever said getting up is horrible u need to open your mind to more games.
Humm might have not read the "online" part and just listed random titles (12 being playable online) masochist....OK.....mas·och·ism
While I'm not sure what part of getting up was actually above the level of masochism; I will say that I have a very open mind. I have four sets of DK bongos, frequently use my DS, played DDR religiously for over a year, swear by Jet Set Radio, and have donated hundreds of hours to worms(Mostly the older titles, they were much better than the 3d ones). So; I do have a pretty open mind, in addition to loving the UT and Quake series. Guild Wars is a free MMO that is pretty decent. But find yourself some friends or a clan as QUICKLY as you can. Otherwise you will be so incredibly bored. But if you do have good people to play with; I've heard it can be one of the most entertaining games online. I need to restart and give it another shot myself... Battlefield Anything is a great title, all the time, every time. lol. Unreal Tournament 2004 Tribes Vengeance Quake 3 or 4. Yes, Quake 3 is dated; but it never gets old. Oblivion(Depending on how your system handles it. Mine basically won't.) Black and White 2 is very enjoyable. I love evil man eating cows. City of Heroes isn't free; but it is one of the best MMO's for newbies. I was hooked for nine months. Half Life 2 (Plus, of course, Counter Strike Source) Doom 3 comes highly reccomended. F.E.A.R. is amazing. Condemned is excellent. Need for Speed Most Wanted is a great title, despite the fact that I really wanted to hate it, I just couldn't. lol.
i have to agree with u on most wanted. Never liked the other need for speed undergrounds and wasnt looking forward to this one and it surprised me and now i love it.
Guild Wars should be more entertaining now that Factions is out and the fact it's still free is [bold]great[/bold] imo
Get a halflife pack for 20$ at a local computer store, register it with steam, and play all the games it come with, Day of Defeat is my crack.
As good as Half-Life is; it's hardly ground breaking; I am under the impression that he's looking for something a little more recent than 1998 for his gaming fix. Although Half-Life 2 with the CS Source (as mentioned earlier) is wonderful. And if you get the collector's edition (I had to, it was too good) it comes with access to the older Half-Life software, HL Source, TFC, CS, all of them. It's a steal, and it's probably one of the best gaming fixes in history. The collector's edition costs a bit more; but you are getting literally about ten times the gaming. That's not even an exagguration, the big mods for Half-Life one and two aren't little tweaks. They are entire revamps, changing the basic way the game is played. They set entirely new maps, textures, weapons, goals, and gameplay types. They are literally their own, seperate titles. And they are all great fun.
diablo II far cry battlefield series WoW (14.99 a month) TES: Oblivion should be good on PC even though i have it for xbox 360 and there are planty more.
Star Wars: Empire of War is pretty fun. Imagine Warcraft mixed with Risk mixed with, well, Star Wars. Very solid game As for TES: Oblivion, I wouldn't recommend it if you have loved ones. They may never see you again.
What about Shaowbane? Its an online game and its free to play online. Also only coast me 4.99 at Gamestop.com
