Any idea how to play AVI files

    is there any way i can play AVI files into stand alone DVD player without changing it to VCD format? i have a stand alone DVD player that supports VCD/SVCD, CDR-RW. thanks in advance.

    No you can't. You'll have to wait with the rest of use for a stand-alone divx player! Pain in the ass isnt it!!!

    You can't. We all have to wait for a stand-alone divx player to make an appearance!




    EDIT: The reason the second message was posted was because I got a "cannot find server" page so I clicked back and my message was gone so I typed another one thinking that none was posted!

    I wouldnt trust it to be honest! As we've seen, there were a couple of things that we missed in the specifications!!

    I've seen the a standalone DIVx Player in Circuit City that was on 1998. i bought a divx CD in that time bcoz i thought i could play it with my computer but it didn't play. the Divx CD was so cheap. i don't why they discontinued the Divx Player.
