    Hi;

    I have a bunch of AVI files I recovered from a crashed hard drive. But there were problems with the recovery; some blocks were bad & there is likely some corruption in some of the files.

    Rather than just try to play each file one by one in a media player, is there any tool that can scan/check an AVI file for integrity & playability?

    Thanks,

    Paul
