Also, if you look at the 'properties' of the picture i got it off of HowStuffWorks.com

@ Nephilim: yeah, I watched a show on nukes on the History Channel. Wasn't Annie the only nuke that was successfully launched from a cannon? thank god that didn't take off, or we'd have some even bigger problems with nuclear weapons these days.

    Auslander,

I believe there were others but none that gained the notoriety of Atomic Annie. I believe Jerry746 had something to do with one of those projects. I'll give him a pm and see if he can give us a the skinny on tactical nukes :)

This is what came out of the working end of Atomic Annie and several other artillery guns.

If I remember right after all this time, yield was about 20 kilo-tons. Just a baby nuke.

Jerry, I can't say I wouldn't want a few of those stashed under my bed. In AD's basement arsenal, aren't there a dozen or so? ;)

I have a few laying out in the tool shed. I use to bring them home in my lunch bucket. No one ever missed them.
The fun part building these things was trying to do it in the radiation suits. You weren't supposed to bump, hit, or drop any of the parts. All measurements had to be exact, but you couldn't see what you were doing. We were lucky we didn't blow up the base in Oklahoma and half the state with it. Ahhh the good old days.

I don't know how much help they would be. It would feel like you were inside a plastic bag and probably just as much protection. On a dark summer night you can find me easy. I'm the guy glowing a little green around the edges.
