anybody with symbolrate and frequencies for nthell greystones?

    Are you sure it is N** and not Ch**us? Do you have a box supplied by the cable company if so is it either a Pace or Sagem box?

    its a pace one and has ntl on front. plugged it in to check before i reflashed last week and all worked grand..thats why i wanted to solve poor signal as reckon it must be eurovox and firmware. the 18/04 worked but just channels were briefly scrambling... torn between just going back to 18/04 but cant listen to herself giving out about not being able to watc gilmore girls without it stopping for a few secs..jeeez!

    that is no worries karl really appreciate the help, honestly, couldnt do this stuff without people like you and scouser, ive seen all the help you give.
    so that means back to square one i assume.. 18/04 firmware.
    scouser.. any solutions for poor signal...have done signal booster etc?

    its a pace from nthell. have redownloaded 28/04 to box but now thinking i should reflash to 18/04? am i thinking one step ahead.. all i need is to get signa strength sorted so 8% goes away.

    OK thats all I needed to know the problem is not with the box. Put the 18/04/08 firmware back on. You say you are in a block of apartments so you must be on a communal feed. Therefore you signal is weak either way, bad enough on cable but terrible on MMDS.

    When you put the firmware back on do a factory reset. Then do a powerscan on 6887. After that press menu, config, TV settings, and turn on board booster on.

    Now press menu, installation, user installation. Tell me how many TPs, (frequencies), you see and what the average signal strength is coming in at.

    ok thanks doing that now... do you know what frequncies to start and finish at to save going fully through them all? have done it 3 times already tonight so any shortcuts a help

    scratch last message have done factory reset and now on powerscan, back to you in a few mins... any score in match, hopefuuly keane and torres started, think it could be the difference next year, 2 twenty goal per season strikers! just sell pennant and cull a few others now!

    ok have done all that. There are 9 ch numbers ||(i think thats what you mean by tps) and highest is at about 78% but most of them in red flicking between 5 and 30%. I remember a few montha ago i had 13 if memory serves me correctly.

    and frequencies go from 258 to 386 across the 9 ch nums if that helps.
    modulator is qam64.
    And pictures are there when i go through each channel but not for all of them, some coming up with black screen.

    they're pretty much all flashing in the red bar ch 9 on frequency 386 if that makes a difference.
