I've only used the usb cable to transfer data onto the tvisto however I did get a private message from someone who had a similar problem. He said his tvisto would only display files when connected to the computer and not when connected to the tv. Just showed "No files found". I ran into the same problem a while back. I ended up using the buttons on the player and not the remote. For some reason it worked and then I was able to use the remote again.
