Cox says I have cox.west.news.net but I can't tell if they offer me most or all of the groups. Anyone know?
I use SBNEWS to download as it is the only one of the Robots I know of that takes no knowledge to download as you select you group, press connect tell it where to store it and bingo.
The others I have tried are VERY complicated.
I have not used the News servers recently but it seems they do not have as much as they did and don't know why.
I don't know if something like Giganews is worth the cost.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks,

Can you be more specific cause if I hit this p2p link, I go to Vibrant and it wants to sell me music? What it directs me to is not a forum. Can you supply the "name"

Or, is there NOT a place to discuss the Usenet on this forum?

jagman55 - I moved your thread from the news forum to the p2p forum which usenet/newsgroups would fall under.
You might get more help in a more appropriate forum :)

    edit: typo
