"Airplane" was a real riot..."Don't call me Shirley..." "Joey, do you like gladiator movies?" You have to watch it about 5 times to catch all the jokes/sight-gags....like the bottles of 'mayo' in the shelves behind the guy at the "Mayo" clinic...hell--it even had Ethel Merman in it! And who can top June Cleaver talking jive...

Gotta love Lloyd Bridges. Also the bald guy with all the stupid comments and refrences. What was his name?

My mention of June Cleaver jogged my memory to the best "Leave it to Beaver" line ever. One Saturday, Ward is out mowing the lawn with his push-mower. Half-way through he comes in the kitchen, and June says "why did you stop halfway through" Ward responds..."Oh, I have to change my slacks--the crease has gone out of these..."

I assume all of you movie-fiends have a current copy "Video Hound's Golden Movie Retreiver" The true last word in info--although--the internet is unbeatable.

If I was part of that family, I would not know what to do with myself.

Lloyd Bridges was great in "Airplane"--he just picked a bad week to stop smoking and taking 'speed' pills.

Watched The Human Stain last night. Anthony Hopkins was the only redeaming factor in this film. It seemed like the director thought, I've got three stars under contract here, lets see what we can film in the next 24 hours.

How about UHF? Or am I the only strange one that thinks it is a classic?

UHF had Weird Al Yankovick in it. Seems you are a big fan of good chinese action films. Have you seen "House of Flying Daggers" yet?

I own it! Gotta love Spatula City :)

Anyone getting into or already into anime owes it to themselves to check out the "Crying Freeman" series - they're my absolute faves.

Anyone in here a Jack Black fan before I go any further?
