Are you on crack!! how can you say of all of the marvel comic movies, that the punisher was the best one? I admit the movie did not have holes because you cant have holes win there is no story! Thomas Jane as the punisher was a good pick, but every other character was horrible, especially John Travolta. what a bad actor.

Now tell me where were the holes in Spiderman 2? that movie was good, not oscar best picture good, but good fun great action good. Not to mention, if your a fan of the comic books, the lead in for the next film sounds very promising. The first Xmen film was good, but the second was fantastic. as far as the other ones go, they were all not that great. The Hulk was very boring.

Batman Begins was excelent. It was actually better than Tim Burton's first batman film. Although Jack Nicholson is still the best villian by far. Anyways "Begins" was a very well rounded and great storytelling, I mean the movie gave batman's ears a purpuse for gods sake.

Back to Spiderman, I have a major villian spoiler if you want to read it at the bottom of my post, if you dont dont read beyond this point

The big rumor is that Topher Grace [bold]AND[/bold] Thomas Hayden Church will both be playing Chameleon, Cholie Sevenity will be the Black Cat, and James Franco will finally turn into Hobgoblin at the end of the Film. Don't believe me? Look it up!

I saw memento recently i liked that movie but i could not understand some of it like the ending. If someone cares to explain i'll apreciate it. I don't feel like watching it again because i have like 6 movies from netflix that i haven't watched. Batman begins was great don't really have much to complain about it. Fantastic four i didn't like too much. To me it was just one of those movies that saved the good stuff for the sequel. If you're going to have 4 "fantastic" superheroes then make them do a lot of fantastic things. There was some comedy in it though.

sure, we find out that teddy already helped lenny find his killer and he killed him, tattooed himself that he did, somehow covered that tattoo, and started his quest to find killer again because he forgot he did it. so at the begining/end he kills teddy because his clues made him think he was the killer. confused!

Are you kidding me! If this movie was a fetus, it would of been aborted! The only reason to see this movie is Jessica Simpson and she gets annoying after a while.

yup, ladder49 was sort of ok, but i literally fast-forwarded all the bits were joaqin phoenix was having flashbacks of his career as it was all obvious stuff, like gettimg married, kids, blah blah blah. obviously just a film about how much the US loves its firefighters. nothing wrong with that, i just thought there'd be more than 2 scenes of action!.

still haven't watched the punisher, i heard its got virtually no action in it. ps i usually think John Travolta is top, he ends up in some duff roles, but the guy's great

i loved spidey 1 and 2, haven't seen batman begins or Fantastic 4 yet, or Dukes of Hazzard

The thing that got me mad about ladder 49 is that the movie, in my opinion, was totally trying to bank on the 9/11 tragedy. The movie was A LOT different than what the trailer made it out to be. I thought it was going to be an action flick, but I was wrong.
dont get me wrong, he has been in some good movies, but look at his filmography, 90% of his movies are pretty bad. Have a look for yourself:

it's ok, i'm not much of a film critic, i either enjoy films or i don't, i'm real easy to please.

ladder 49 - that's what i was trying to say, it came across as like a tribute to 9/11.

that list reminds me, haven't seen 'be cool' yet

I agree that. When I was teenager I got sucked into horror partially by same movies and I still like them very much. Most of them aren't as uncommon nowadays as they were about 10 years ago or so - actually it's surprising how known Re-Animator (for an example) has become long time after it's release - but they're still original enough for entertain people and get them interested about the horror genre.

I like Friday series, or at least some of the movies: Most sequels are quite dull, but this serie was the one that started the "imaginative ways of death" into horror movies - idea which have influenced such newer movies like Final Destination. Jason is also quite cool character, but how many of you will remember who the original Crystal Lake killer was? :)

    Fortunately her boobs don't ;D

a tribute to some, but to a business student like me, see it is a total way to cash off the tragedy. obviously, with a tragedy like that where there are a lot of people that have a new apperciation for firemen, they would go to any lenghts for a movie about them and hollywood knew this. Maybe, I thinking too much into this, but it just seemed that all of the sudden there are too many people here (in the states) that are trying to bank on a tragedy that thousands of people died. fahrenheit 911 was good though on the other hand because it cronicled what happened that day and showed how much of a sleaze that Bush and his cabinet is.

Anyways away from this serious talk and back to the movies.

    I heard that!

You know, I sometimes just watch a movie just to kill time. I was entertained by Ladder 49. Not Travolta's best, [that would be Phonemenon, with Robert Duvall] but ok. I watched it through, and even paused it, when I went for an adult beverage.

Romero...I was talking about the TV show "Friday the 13th--the Series" a one hour show (it had NOTHING to do with the movies--don't know why they called it that). An older guy owned a antique shop and each week they tried to recover some item that was able to do something evil--a young guy and girl (his niece and nephew I think)would go and find where the item was to snatch it back--remembee this one?

I saw [bold]"Danny The Dog aka Unleashed (US)"[/bold] a couple months ago, it's one of Jet Li's best in my opinion. You rarely get to see Jet Li weep in any of his movies now-a-days. This is a mix of variety from drama to action and a little of comedy. Overall, Unleashed top all of Jet's Hollywood movies.

I think one of the best acting jobs ever in a movie was John Travolta & Nicholas Cage in FACE OFF. I could've sworn they actually had the operation the way their betrayal of characters was so believable.
