Yeah.... so in a way, it's like they're both good and bad. I dig the bullets shooting and boat scenes the most. Gina is awesome as well.
Oops, my bad. That sounds familiar and I'm sure that I've watched this kind of serie loooong time ago, but I can't remember was it this or some other similar one - I was about 12-13 years old at the moment.
I saw Skeleton Key last night (wasn't my first choice but it was all that was open). It was ok I guess but the ending was really good because the "I need a happy ending or I hate it" crowd will hate it
I didnt like skeleton key, and I didn't mind the ending but the storline just sucked. I was looking forward to Stealth but that had a crap middle to end plot. Looking forward to Crash need feedback.
I think CRASH portrayed America the it is (we are). In addition there were excellent acting. You have to make sure you don't get that caught up in the acting so you can realize the morale. STEREOTYPES is a big part of the world. It's not just your fault or my fault but the media, teachers, society, and most important HISTORY. That movie just brought up a lot of issues, gave a few heart felt scenarios then rolled the credits. Then you had to walk out of the theatre and mingle with the people you were just watching. "Maybe my last line only makes sense if you saw the movie". EXCELLENT MOVIE when it makes you take a couple steps back and look at yourself.
I just watched two very excellent movies: Straw Dogs was very strong and tense tale about how geek becomes a man when pressured enough, it fulfilled usual Peckinpah standards in violent content and Susan George was soooo sexy. Dustin Hoffman made excellent work in his role of nerd who must take his place in his house and do what man's gotta do. Another one was Plague Of The Zombies, classic Hammer chiller which went straight to top at my british horror top ten. It was interesting mixture of Haiti voodoo myths and traditional british environment with very eerie atmosphere. I noticed a lots of similarities with White Zombie but as far I know this isn't remake, anyway I liked it a lot. Dream sequence where corpses rise from their graves at the cemetary was very nightmarish, and final scenes at the abandoned mine were absolutely stunning. I've watched also some not-so-significant movies, one of them was Roger Cormas's scifi cheapie Galaxy Of Terror which was just what I expected: B-grade alien splat-o-rama which had it's moments but mostly it was just bad. "Highlight" was quite laughable but nasty scene where giant worm monster raped female astronaut, or I can't really say did it raped or just killed her but there was lots of tentacles and girl lost every piece of her clothes Right now I'm waiting that the full set of Lone Wolf & Cub-movies I bought from eBay would arrive, this serie is very stylish and violent tale about samurai who gets betrayed and begin his journey for vengeance with his only few years old son.
A movie that frequently gets watched in my collection...THE NEGOTIATOR. Kevin Spacey & Samuel L. Jackson. I love it. To me, it's one of those movies you can watch over and over again...and I do. Sometimes I just get tired of Samuel L. Jackson yelling...MAN!!!
An even 3. It was good to watch but I wasn't "that" impressed. I guess I would expect a little more from a movie with Brad Pitt & Angelina.
I really enjoyed Ray Liotta's performance in "Control". That movie gate a 7/10 from me. Loved it, though the end seemed rushed.
