Then why the hell did you write it?!! If you're not going to add to the topic then keep your trap shut.
Sin City and Dukes of Hazard was pretty good. I just burned In living Color season 1 and about to watch it. Seems pretty funny
I just rented Sin City...I'll be watching it this weekend along with that new Dave Chappelle Stand Up. [bold]@j_torres[/bold] In Living Color...now that brings back memories. Have you never seen it before? Man that was where a lot of comedians and stars got their start...Of course the Wayan's Brothers and Sis, Jim Carrey, Jennifer Lopez (well, not really a star but people know her butt), Flex, Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, David Alan Grier, man I used to love that show. If you like slap comedy, you're gonna love how they do it!!
I can't wait for the extended cut of Sin City. The regular movie rules...I can only imagine the extended one.
I just watched "Suspect Zero" the other night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I like the storyline of a serial killer tracking down and killing other serial killers and Ben Kingsly was top notch as usual!
some good movie i watched this summer !!!! War of the World !! The Island !!!! thoses two movie did keep me in ! from the start to the end ! and on September 2nd " The Transporter 2 " !!!!
(creaky mumbles "we always get new films in the UK waaaay after everyone else") so i usually content myself watching older films, i watched 2 Jet Li movies last night - Kiss of the Dragon & The Enforcer. Wanna watch Romeo Must Die tonight as don't think i've watched it before. Also wanna watch Ninja in the Dragon's Den.
[bold]Con Air[/bold] is one of those movies I can watch over and over again. I put it a category with movies like Face off, The Rock, The Negotiator...probably one of Nicholas Cage's best. Is there gonna be a part 2 to [bold]The Transporter[/bold]? Man I hope they use a different girl because her acting got "on my nerves".
Solargame has a point--There are not that many new movies that are worth talking about. I like the mention of older movies I have missed somehow...like "Plague of the Zombies". The name alone makes it watch-worthy. I watched "Valentine" last night...pretty good, a 2001 movie. I always use Netflix, so I won't get varicose veins in my legs from standing in a video rental store. Takes forever to find one you want to rent, and Netflix is cheaper. I also watched "Constantine" last night as well. I liked it ALOT, never any dull spots...the only complaint I have is that I 'got the picture' early on that smoking was bad for you so Keanu Reeves didn't need to light 577 butts to drive it home. The demons were nicely done...not the same old crap. If anyone has any old favorites--mention them. I run out of movies on Netflix, and searching is pretty tedious. Horror and disaster/catastrophe are best. Or something clever like the "Bourne" movies. I am still waiting for a good earthquake movie...after that silly TV-movie (10.5 I think was the name)no one seems to get it right. Probably the best was San Francosco (1936) with Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy and Jeannette McDonald. The special effects were better and that was long ago.
Here are a few old school movies... Little Shop of Horrors The Program Rudy Scarface (I could write a book on it) Coming to America BIG House Party & who could forget the Lethal Weapon Series???!!! I just found Little Shop of Horrors on a sale rack for $6. That is one of the best stupid/funny movies from my childhood. You can't beat 6 bucks for any movie. I mught even pay 6 bucks for Pootie Tang....................YEAH RIGHT!!! Seriously, if you guys haven't any of those in a while or haven't seen them at all, check them out. I suggest COMING TO AMERICA first. It's Eddie Murphy at his best.
anyone seen "Dont be a Menace to South Central", i laughed so much in that movie, but you have to be into the "Black" culture to fully understand the movie.
...while drinkin' yo' juice in da hood. He%% Yeah!! Real Funny. Nah, not really man it's nothing really about culture in there at all. It pokes fun at previous movies like Menace II Society, Boys In Da Hood, Juice, etc... It's like "Scary Movie" did with it's series poking fun at other scary movies like "Scream" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer". That's it. But it was a good funny/stupid movie. But nothing beats the Friday series, right?
