The character John Constantine from the comic Hellblazer was an absolute chain smoker throughout the entire series so it fits within the storyline
S.W.A.T. Surprisingly good. It kept me guessing the whole time as to who the bad guy was...as a matter of fact, I think they still might have me fooled. LOL!
First off, Hi ppl, today i just watched sin city, I don't relly see the story, the movie sucked. I also watched be cool let's just say it was lot worst than sin city. my 2cent. Thanks for reading. Does anyone know any good movie or good new relase movie? cause my bb quote is empty.
i see what you mean [snippet from imdb.com, movie has rating of 2.3/10 (12,307 votes), currently : bottom 100: #47]
Good one neph, I have sin city, but haven't watched it yet. The reviews were 4 star, so it can't be that bad. I watched paparazzi last night, ho hum, but I always enjoy it when the good guy gets away with mayhem against the bad guys.
I watched "Sideways" last night. To make my review clear...it was like following a cow closely and with a wooden shingle--scooping up some cow flop (aka prairie muffins). What a piece of crap. I kept dozing off when my eyes started to glaze over from the lack of any kind of interesting scenes.
I saw The Longest Yard (2005) a few days ago at the dollar theater. I thought it was was good, lots of comedy and pretty good story.
Sideways was something like the I Love The Huckabees, about 1/2 way thruogh I thought, what the hell is this about, and ejected the disc, and went to bed.
WBF-- You did the smart thing to jetticon "Sideways". I think there were subliminal messages that made me watch it to the end--I caught myself no longer blinking my eyes after a while. I can stomach a lot of crap, but nerdy people with minor romantic problems and uninteresting lives--just doesn't cut it. I did however really enjoy "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"--not my kind of movie, but well done and really funny in normal non-sight-gag ways.
I forgot to mention--did anyone see "The Royal Tennenbaums"? So bad you begin to question your reasons for living.
Uniique 1 just reminded me as I thought about bad movies. This one is BAD but HILARIOUS. It's Ed Wood's cinematic debut..."Glen or Glenda?" I bring Kleenex when I watch it--you laugh to tears when you hear Glen's thoughts at times in the movie. Of course, Bela Lugosi is in it, all tanked-up on near-fatal doses of morphine. Netflix has it, most rental stores don't.
Speaking of stinkers, I just watched "Frozen Impact" tonight. It was so bad it actually HURT to finish it. I've seen some bad movies but this one was just horrible. I usually enjoy a good cheesy sci-fi or a low budget film. The lead in it was "Jefferson" from married with children, Mcginnis or something like that. Anyways, I should of listened to the other reviews but I took a chance and lost. On the other hand I actually enjoyed I Heart Huckabee's. I will say though it's either a hate it or love it movie, or more actually a get it or don't.
