T-man: if you like the villain dude in Red Eye, go see 28 Days Later...he's the hero there, but he's a "bad guy" type hero. very very good movie.
Watched Monster in Law. I'm not a Hanoi Jane fan, but she plays the part of a person you can really dislike, so it wasn't that bad. Also watched A Murder of Crows. Not bad for a B Grade movie. I have alywas liked Cuba Gooding Jr.
I haven't seen second one yet but 1st one was a pleasant surprise, most of new horror movies has been just dull but this was very fresh and creepy. One thing worth of mentioning was monster's van: It had very mean look because of rust and dirt, and it's speed and sound told that there were 427 or something similar under the hood. Satanic asphalt-swallower, could say. I just love this kind of vehicles, another magnificent ones are very nasty old truck from The Duel and The Monster Man's huge 4x4 which looks just like some annoyed and furious prehistoric beast. They are almost more frightening than monsters or killers themselves.
I just saw The Man with Eugene Levy and Samuel L. Jackson and it was a very funny movie. There were some very funny parts, if you have not seen it I would go see it.
I watched "The Transporter 2" last sunday, actionwise was pretty decent, storyline was ok. Overall, the movie was packed with actions, bullets flying, awesome car chasing scenes, plus Jason sure can kick some @ss. I just saw "Exorcism: Emily Rose", good storyline. All the actors/actress were doing a great job. I don't know if it's just me, but I dig this more than "Exorcist: The Begining".
@p4_tt, If you liked The Transporter, then you're more than likely to enjoy The Transporter 2 as well. Tons of actions, and yes... did I said Jason sure can fight and kick some ass.
Crash was cool! Finally a a good movie with a little depth that really makes you think about how you perceive yourself and others! Highly recommend!
I took my granddaughter to see "The March of the Penguins" and we both enjoyed it. It is only rated "G", though. It's not stupid if you are interested in the life style of penguins. Otherwise I guess it would be. Not really stupid, but possibly boring to some people. Dave
I liked "March of the Penguins" too. I have always liked the little creatures cause they are pretty interesting and tough as nails to live where they do. The way they deal with their young offspring is fascinating. I step away from gore movies once in a while.
