I watched Kung Fu Hustle the other night. I found it to be the funniest film i have seen in a long time :p Esspecalliy that scene when the wife is beating the husband abd he falls all the way down from the top floor and then he hits the ground and then she throws the pot plant and hits him again on the head LMAO!!! :)

If u havent seen it... It's worth watching...

I watched the movie Fargo, its good except they dont actually have the movie take place in fargo,i should know because thats where i live, and i think they have over done the norweigen accent too. But overall its a good movie.

They did overdo the Norwegian accents, but it was an excellent movie. (Northern Minnesota, here. Many Norwegians in my neck of the woods.)

I saw "Sin City" last night. It was a visual feast--a whole new kind of movie--at least from what I have seen. The old cars were fun and the use of B&W and color both was great. I would like to ask the director--"Did you take a lot of acid in the 60's?" It had a sort of tolerably unrealistic violence as well. This one and "Crash" I will buy.

First of all for those who liked Kung Fu Hustle, you should check out Shaolin Soccer. It is the the same actor, director, writer and 10x more funny in my opinion. The movie is just so outrageously funny. On of those movies you will totally love or totally hate.

    However
BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN: EQUILIBRIUM
It seems like no one has ever heard of it but after I get people to watch it they always love it. This movie needs to be checked out by everyone.
NOTE: Everyone needs to watch this movie at least twice!
The movie is so well done that I see new things in it every time I watch it. I think it wasn't popular or advertised when it came out around 2000 just because it had a very true hardcore society in it or something stupid. So no one has heard of it. BEST MOVIE EVER! And this ain't some low-budget or corny film either, it's a real thinker but you won't be bored, trust me.

    Seriously Watch it.

I watched a movie I bought again today--"Clay Pidgeons" with Joaquin Phoenix--who I think is a very good actor. But, what made this good was the twists and turns and clever plot. It reminds me of the 40's cult classic "Detour" which is excellent. This is off-subject some--but--do any of you like the "Golden Girls" sitcom? It must have the world record for royalties--either it or "Cops".

    Alien13--
One reason I will watch a film that I haven't heard of--if it is an Australian film. They are always well-made and interesting. And, also because they drink those big half-gallon cans of beer! :)

    Where did everyone go??
I'd like to know from the members here--which Japanese "Godzilla-type" monster is your favorite? I pick Mothra--those two little imp-girls that chant the Mothra-wake-up-call are without equal-although-my close second would be Gammera, a flying, spinning sabre-toothed turtle with fiery afterburner jets coming out his leg-holes.
