I just watched "Any Given Sunday" for the first time. Jamie Fox and Al Pacino put on a good show.

I am watchung Sci-Fi channel here on Sat. night...several movies with the "walking dead"...but...I was wondering--why do they (the zombies) always want to eat your BRAIN?? If any of you are football fans (college)and missed seeing the USC-Notre Dame game...it was a real 'barn-burner'.

I saw Domino with Keira Knightley on Friday. Although a lot of critics are putting it down, I loved it. It's a great film, IMO. I'll definately buy it on DVD when it's released.

anyone seen the movie "Calateral Damage" with Jamie Fox and Tom Cruise?

its a movie worth watchin but not the kind of movie where your kids are sitting next to you and crying and on your other side is your wife bitching you to take out the trash. no. its a movie you need to see in silence and really pay attention to wats going on. if not, your not gonna enjoy the movie at all.

@solargame - that film was pretty good, the only bit i can remember off top of my head is the bit where the one bloke lands on the roof of that car.

If someone is looking for really bad but still entertaining and laughable movie I would suggest Astro Zombies: Artificial zombies who use light as their power source, lots of strange gadgets with blinking lights and bleeping sound, mad scientist with his loyal hunchback assistant and plot thinner than Lara Flynn Boyle's waist :D

I also watched two very excellent italian giallos, Watch Me When I Kill and Bloodstained Shadow, and another italian masterpiece by Mario Bava: Baron Blood. Oh I love those tense murder mysteries and old-fashioned gothic horror: Just can't get enough of them.

Most noticeable of a little freshier additions was Ginger Snaps: I didn't waited much from this one but for my surprise it revealed to be quite fun and bloody werewolf comedy with very dark humour. Main character Ginger played by Katharine Isabelle was absolute eye candy, but Emily Perkins stole the whole show in her role of Ginger's quite odd little sister.

    Creaky,

Batman Begins is awesome, you definitely need to check it out.

I don't know about other members in here, but for me, I'm not really into movies like Zombies etc. (it just seems unrealistic to me). I'm all into Japanese Anime (any anime that has a decent storyline with some great actions and sci-fi), fantasy, drama (thriller), actions (including foreign & martial arts).

I watched "Ninja Scroll" today for the 10th times and I couldn't believe it. The actions are still good, storyline is good. I guess Ninja Scroll hasn't bored me yet.

Does anyone else in here likes Anime? Can you recommend any good one for me? Below are what I've seen so far.

    Akira
    Ninja Scroll
Ninja Scroll (TV series... saw some of it, not as good as the original movie)
Naruto (TV series.... I still need a lot to catch on, only on 130 now)
Naruto (The movie... the first movie, not the latest one)
Rurouni Kenshin (aka Samurai X: The movie)
    Rurouni Kenshin (reflection & betrayal)
    Ghost In The Shell
Ghost In The Shell:Stand Alone Complex (TV series)
    Project Arms
    Daggers of Kamui
    Wraith Of The Ninja
    Sword for Truth
    Tekken (The Movie)
    Street Fighter
    Street Fighter II
    Street Fighter Alpha The Movie
    X
    Vampire Hunter D
    Samurai Champloo (TV series)
Fist Of The North Star: The movie
Fist Of The North Star (The new series)
    Full Metal Alchemist
    Cowboy Bebop (The movie)
    Cowboy Bebop (The series)
    Macross The Movie
    Blood: The Last Vampire
    Escaflowne
    Trigun
    Bleach
Fighting Spirit: Vol One (Damn...I love this movie)
and of course the latest Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

There are probably a few more, but I couldn't think of it at this moment.

    @p4_tt,

Yep, I prefer the sub/subtitles than dub. Naruto is definitely a great anime. It is on my list of best Anime movies for sure.

@alkohol - i just love most films, i do like horror/zombie/all sorts but my faves are action movies, lately the martial art stuff, ie more the Jackie Chan/Jet Li; the sillier/funnier ones are my faves.. i am really getting the anime bug too, there's just too much of it out there for me to keep up with. Ninja Scroll is awesome though.

I watched Red Dust with Hilary Swank last night, very good movie, not because i thought Hilary was lovely, at all :)

i watched Ginger Snaps Unleashed the other week, not as good as the first. Also watched Dodgeball the other night, first half of film was great, then when the sports bit kicked in i lost interest. (nothing could compete with the car wash scene!).

i think that's all i've watched recently, i've been posting too much instead. which reminds me, i might watch equilibrium again, that was awesome.

At Alphabet (hope you don't me calling your that. :) ) I have never seen that before, either. I think that that has got to be a first. A certificate should be given to you for the first "At No Time Did I Post" post. LOL
