@Alien13 - yay, just stay away from tricycles now.

@alkohol - i'll have to look out for Doom then, as per usual we don't get the big films over here 'til everyone else has seen 'em. ah well, at least we get a heads up on whether films are any good

If you like "Resident Evil" then you're more than likely to enjoy "DOOM" as well.

I just watched John Woo's "The Killer" for the 6th times and man... I can't believe it, it still blows my mind away. I watched another film by Johnny To "Full Time Killer" - this movie is pretty good as well. I guess I'm in the mood for gun blasting, bullet's battling, gun actions, etc.

That was 100% Jet L stuff.
I like this one very much. Not better than Cradle 2 the Grave but it was good movie.

And now I have change to watch DOOM so I will tell more about it tomorrow :

"Hellraiser:Hellworld" was OK...had some good gore and the methods it was done :) Does anyone agree: the first "Kill Bill" was great and the sequel was nowhere near as good. I watched an old videotape I ran across in my piles of old tapes--"Videodrome". Now THAT's a strange but very good movie. I am watching "Gothika" tonite--had to get a replacement from Netflix...first one was cracked, I guess the P.O. stomped it or something. Anybody remember "Motel Hell"? At least--they didn't use preservatives in their sausage! Their 'garden' was a horror movie classic.

Forgot to ask this question: Any fans of John Waters movies--"Pink Flamingoes"--"Female Trouble"--"Desperate Living"? I always LMFAO when I watch the anger Dawn Davenport vents at her parents when she did not get her Cha-Cha heels for Xmas...

I've lost count of how many times I've seen Motel Hell and yes, the garden scene is one of the best! I watched Hellraiser Bloodline the other day and have to say that I was duly impressed. I really enjoyed getting all the background on the why's, how's and where's of the Lament Configuration.

    @ alkohol,

I forgot to mention that director Simon Yam is the guy who pioneered the 'bullet cam' effect which debuted in Full Contact.

"Motel Hell" was Rory Calhoun's best horror flick (LOL). I think they made too many "Hellraiser" movies--the first was superb..."hellworld" was a basic teen horror flick--made for the 12 to 16 age group where it made lots of money I am sure.

It's been a long time since a NEW scary movie has come out, and I mean truely scary edge of your seat at the moment kind. None of the emily rose BS and Saw isn't scary either, you get the picture.

The Jacket was a really good movie no one really noticed go through theatres it seems.

Does anyone really like the "houses that eat people" movies like Amityville and a ton of others. I just can't fathom a bunch of 2-by-fours gobbling me up. All you would need is a book of matches and you could get rid of the sucker real fast! :)

I had a dream once where thousands of empty yogurt cups were trying to kill me and that was pretty scary so maybe in the right context 2x4's could be frightening.

The new Amityville was pretty good, I thought. Of course, I've never seen any other, or know anything about it, so to me it was just another new movie.

I have kept a secret to myself for years--and now you know what it is--the DAMN yogurt cups! The are truly the Devil's tool. I will not go into metal coat hangers...it's too horrible to talk about.
