    @Nephilim

    Thanks for the recommendations, but I've seen both them already. Yes... Hard Boiled is really good, yet I think "The Killer" is a little bit better.

    Hummhhhh... I think you mean Director Ringo Lam? He's the main director in Full Contact. However, Simon Yam does play with Chow Yun Fat in there though.

    Jmark: Congratulations for finding Videodrome, it's really original and twisted piece of art. I've always liked Cronenberg's style, and this is kind of ultimate movie what comes to his dark imagination. Was your version unrated one?

    Motel Hell, ahh how fun it was and still is - no-one knows what might be lurking behind the barn...

    Lol, I do that all the damn time! The whole 'Yam or Lam' deal throws me everytime :p

    And I agree that The Killer is absolutely tops!

    you guys keep making me watch/look for new movies lol!. i have Hard Boiled but hadn't watched it yet, now i'll have to get The Killer and Full Contact, and maybe Full Time Killer too.

    i watched the Jacket, i really enjoyed that one. i watched 'Virus' last night (Donald Sutherland) - it was panned but i enjoyed it. Also watched Blazing Saddles last night, hadn't seen it in ages, it's still pretty good.

    @alkohol - i love the Res Evil films, and have been into the Doom games since they came out (ah the wonder of GlDoom too!), and of course mustn't forget Wolfenstein 3D. So it sounds like Doom will be one to look for; i was worried it was gonna be a waste of a license.

    And of course am looking forward to Monday so i can buy Revenge of the Sith

    I have the jacket too, it was an interesting movie. Never really knew what would happen next. And you always have to love that.

    Finally, someone else that appreciates The Jacket. You have to appreciate Keira Knightley too ;) All in all a very engaging movie, one of the few for the past couple years.

    I am half way through Kingdom of Heaven and i find it too b long and the story takes too long. But i backed it up anyway :), but for me it seems not too have the same feelin that other Knight king movird have. Not bad i doo reccomend people watch it.

    I backed up and saw Biccential Man yesterday. I gottta say that is another long movie that makes mee sleepy but i like how he creates the organs and stuff its kewl in that way :)

    Last Week i purschased E.R Season 2 and I love that TV show its really kewl and i love watchin it and u see the old characters and how it all started :)

    Anyway thats been my viewing this week :)

    [bold]EDIT[/bold]

    Soo i finished watchin Kingdom of Heaven and i found it very long but i gotta say it was well written though.

    @borha9 - i loved Kingdom of Heaven, long but excellent. when i finally catch up with my AD replies i'm gonna watch The Killer.

    edit- still watching the Killer, it's not bad, but i just cannot stand the singing in the film. i may be nearing 37 but i cannot stand cruise ship-type singing.

    last night i started watching 'Silver Hawk' - that was atrocious and that was only after about 20mins of watching. Then i watched Fist of Fury - Sworn Revenge and that was awful too, it's over 2 discs and i (stupidly) watched all of disc one, but managed about 5mins of disc two - what a load of old rubbish. Now the Killer so far is ok (bar the singing), just don't think it's brilliant at the moment..

    hmmm, i'll reserve judgement on 'The Killer' - maybe i was put off with the 80's pan pipe music and the main actress's annoying and non-stop cries of "Jeffery" throughout the whole film.

    Just watched Jackie Chan in Accidental Spy - that's more like it - awesome stuff. Now i'm watching 'The Hard Word' (Guy Pearce).

    Chow Yun Fat...isn't that sort of a poultry rendition of Moo-Shu pork with a delightful almond-pressed duck whang to it? For me...a little black-bean sauce sets it off just right... :)

    Watched Saw II yesterday afternoon/evening; whilst not as mind boggling/plot twisting as the orinigal, this one keeps you guessing right up till the end.. I'd also lik to says seems that the director / screenwriters went for more gore this tyme around vs the first one. Saw was bloody/gory enuff but the 2nd one seemed to relie a bit moreo n it to keep your attention.

    anywho, next movie(s) Im waiting for - Underworld : Evolution, GhostRider, X-Men 3 ,Hostel

    Movies I dread coming out - Final Destination 3 (why oh why ?!!!!!!!!) , DOOM (already out and sucked ) , Silent Hill

    EDIT -

    Not all of the games to movie have been bad ; Resident Evil wasnt that bad, wasnt great either but thats what happens when you try to cram the original game and 2 or 3 sequel storylines into one storyline/plot for the movie and try to tell it in under 2 / 3 hrs {shrugs}

    I just dont like movies based off a game cause its popular. Such as Doom and the upcoming Silent Hill, Halo films. why is there a suddent NEED for these games to have a major motion film based off them? My guess is Bollywood is desperately clawing for any Pop culture hot item (video games esp) for movie scripts. Thats what I despise.

    looks like you dispise games that become movies, and i agree with you, i mean movies that become games suck 90% of the time, so i guess thats my philosophy when its vice versa.

    I finally got to see Batman begins and man oh man was it the best Batman ever!!! The casting was absolutely perfect, the filming left nothing to be desired and the story was everything that a true Batman fan could want. The actor that played Dr. Crane aka Scarecrow was especially good and fitting for the role. Now to buy my own copy :D

    @ creaky,

    If you're a Jackie Chan fan you definitely need to check out some of the older ones such as Who Am I? (my all time favorite of his), Supercop and Gorgeous ;)
