@Neph, sorry, didn't see the Jackie Chan bit in your reply; yup i luv all his films, i'm collecting them as i go along. Jet Li too but i must admit Jackie Chan's my fave cus of all the slapstick. Just finished watching Brotherhood, absolutely brilliant. very brutal, but absolutely excellent.
@Neph, Creaky, aabbccdd I agree with you guys there it is the best Batman ever minus one thing. Get rid of Katie Homes. All the rest of the casting is fine. I have seen the movie now about 3 times now
yup, i was quite surprised for a main female in a film to not be smoulderingly sexy (sorry Katie but you're not!, not by a long shot), but at least it didn't matter, Christian Bale was awesome in that film and a hot stunner sexy bimbo babe might possibly have been a no-no in this movie.
@Creaky I saw Revenge of the Sith. I thought it was good but a bit too long for me it felt like watchin the Titanic movie. Cause u knew the end result it just took forever to get there... But for a die hard fan it was good... I watched Flight Of The Phoniex last night. It was good a bit slow at times but overall a decent flick...
The whole "Star Wars" series is probably the best movies ever made with one story-line...and a 28-yr span--fantastic. On horror movies--does anyone remember the ol 1959 Vincent Price horror movie "The Tingler" AND the way they rigged the theater seats with startegically placed vibrating buzzers on seats so the patron would jump up and scream during the scary scenes. The original movie "House on Haunted Hill" also with Vincent Price used a "technique" called "EMERGO" to scare your pants off...it was lame as hell..... Does anyone remember one of the better scenes in horror films where at the beginning of the movie some cute girl gets a package in the mail with a 'nice' set of binoculars inside--which she looks thru and two big nails poke her eyes out! YIKES!
i just saw "million dollar baby", and, not having read any reviews or plot synopsis, i have to say i was just stunned. the twist just blew me away. i was depressed for 2 days lol. now THAT'S an effect as for horror movies,i love 'em, my favorite genre. but i haven't been frightened by a movie since "the exorcist" first came out. (scared the crap outta me. i went to catholic school). the "loud noise, sudden appearance" stuff just isn't very scary to me. sure, there's some stuff that creeps me out, (anal probing cockroaches!)but nothing that makes me want to get into bed, pull the covers over my head, and hope that the expiration date on my "father frank's home holywater anti-demon elixer" is still good.
I watched "SAW 2" on the big screen this past weekend. It's pretty good, perhaps as good as SAW, but this time it's more sick, gross and wicked. I like the twisting ending as well. It was a surprised just like the first one. I think there's going to be a SAW III pretty soon.
Saw 2 was pretty good but in my opinion Saw was better, i liked the fact of trying to guess who the bad guy actually was but this time around we knew right away (kinda) but the other twist (which i wont spoiler for those yet to see it was pretty good so i would love a Saw 3

Star Trek 10 - Nemesis - pretty good (bought it yesterday for £2) - bargain. had never seen this one before, pretty good
yeah, star trek nemesis is pretty good, especially since the script was writtn by a 14 year old boy (thats when he started it). next gen is the best. allowed for just you and me to send in plotlines. i wonder why they never took up my suggestion to have marina take off her shirt? (they DID however build a script around an idea i sent: have data and the blonde chick have sex. dang. what was her name?she died first season. dang! i got 509 pics of her nude too)
I wonder if the spincity and sahara is out on DVD. So, if we rent dvds from blockbuster, do we need any other software besides the dvd decryptor and dvd shrink to make copies.
