I finally watched Land Of The Dead -- it's alright, not the best, but I enjoyed it though.

I didn't care much for [bold]Land of the Dead[/bold] either.

I have [bold]Dukes of Hazzard, Cinderella Man[/bold] and [bold]Fantastic 4[/bold] on the way from BBOnline. They should be here today. I'll let you all know what I think after I see them.

When Worlds Collide is another good one I have it on dvd, along with Them, War of the Worlds (original & best), The day the earth caught fire, 20 million miles to earth & Earth versus the flying saucers. The Stand was good, too long though! Langoliers, again good story, but too long.

I saw "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" and thought it was good--had about the same kill-ratio as "Kill Bill". "When Worlds Collide" was great...had not seen it in a while AND the DVD copies are so perfect it was like it was just made. I am still scared that one day I might see the planet "Bellus" homing in on Earth! I bought "Psycho" last week from the bin at Wal-Mart--the $5.50 bin. When I got home--I realized it was the new version...not the 1960 one. AAUURRGGHH! The new one is ok--but NO ONE does Norman Bates like Anthony Perkins.

My wife, son and I just got back from the theater watching "The Chronicles of Narnia", this movie is great -- I enjoyed it as much as my son.

I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2 nights ago. The movie was good but I liked watching Angelina Jones better than I liked the movie.

The Exorcism Of Emily Rose is a very very freaky movie fairly enjoyed it and it was much better than The Exorcist. Also saw Aeon Flux and it is really bad.

Honestly i thought the exorcist was as scary as a litter of puppies compared, maybe its just too retro for me but i have seen it a few times and it just doesn't do anything for me and this is the movie that got banned it a lot of countries for being so scary, i just think Emily Rose was a bit scary for a 15 (Uk) when the exorcist is a 18 (uk)

Well, technology has come a long way. Maybe that's why newer movies might seem scarier. I remember when Jaws came out when I was a kid. The mass hysteria fear of the water was really something! I was scared of the water too after seeing it but then I was only 9 years old. LOL

I do love the older horror movies, especially The Shining among others.

I'm looking forward to the new version of The Bad News Bears that comes out tomorrow. It should be a riot with Billy Bob in it. Anyone seen it?

gotcha, threw me off for a minute, but i've had the DVD for 2 weeks, i got a good friend that manages a blockbuster so i get to buy my copies on an account he created, i give him the cash and he sticks it in on the release date. there's actually very few i get early, unless i'm just dying to get my grubby hands on it.
