@permiggs SPL aka Sha Po Lang is one of the latest cop/gangster, crime thriller that had just unleashed from HK in 2005, starring Donnie Yen, Sammo Hung and Simon Yam. Believe it or not, this is one of the best movie ever made from HK in a very long time. Sammo is freaken awesome man, he's the Kingpin (triad boss), he's acting skills are fantastic in SPL. If you're familiar with "Infernal Affairs" (I dig the first one better), then you're more than likely to enjoy this one. However, the actions are pure raw and awesome, that's all I can say. I dont' want to spoil for you, so you'll have to watch it when it's out over there (UK).
I can't wait till pirate of the carribean 2 comes out in july. The previews are already out. Check them out.
i watched the new Dukes of Hazzard movie last night. very funny, really enjoyed it. i was surprised (and pleased) that Seann William Scott didn't overdo the part
ya 4 brothers was pretty good but i think Eragon is gonna BLOW all the other movies of that year out of the water.
Creaky, Dukes of Hazard to me was a boring movie to me. I understood the movie but still pretty boring.
We saw Chicken Little with the kids. They loved it. I even chuckled a bit during the movie. It was kind of funny for adults, and the kids could understand the humor as well. We gave it 3 1/2 stars.
I saw harry potter and the goblet of fire last night, it was pretty good, i would have to say its my favourite out of the ones realesed
This is not a movie, but has anyone seen the "Disclosure Project" briefing? If you haven't, you must see it. It's crazy.
Well, i did try, but i can't find SPL anywhere! But i'll tell you what i watched last night: [bold]ONG BAK[/bold]. This has got to be the most intense martial arts film ever made! Muai Thai is indeed beautiful. Some scenes in there would make Jackie Chan shiver! (Oh! Don't get me wrong, i still rate J Chan as beeing THE man!)
i watched The Island last night, thoroughly enjoyed it, and whilst i don't find Scarlett Johanssen very attractive, once she got that big hair down and was wearing the white uniform, wowser. anyways, once the car chase started, i was diving around the sofa, avoiding those massive train wheels that kept destroying all the cars/trucks
I saw a olden time set movie, " the last of the mohicans" it was a bit slow, i wasnt really concentrating but the fighting scenes were great, seeing them use the guns, axes, knives was great... I recommend it to people who like movies, set around the days with indians and all that
