solargame has been warned about the racist remarks many times over, right?? but seems to get away with it, and i havent forgot what you called me there dude.
Let's keep calm here people. Solargame, i don't know if you noticed, you are upseting people here with some of your comments... Have some respect please. Topic: I watched Transporter 2 last night. Well, i kinda didn't like the OTT stunts, have you guys ever watched a french action film? That's what the stunts felt like. Completely... [shivers] I mean he was good in Snatch and Lock Stock but here... Also watched Hostage over the weekend. I liked it but i have to say that it was a tad predictable... I kinda knew all the time what was going to happen next from the beggining...
Hostage was so so IMHO. Crash on the other hand is awsome, maybe the best movie of the year. I also liked The Great Raid and Saints and Soldiers.
Hi Dr_no I watched Crash a couple of months ago and endeed i would probably rate it in my top 5 of my all time favorite films ever.
That is my exact feeling about that movie. It's right up there with the best movies ever made. I want to see how it does at the Oscars.
Just watched The Shawshank Redemption again. If you havn't seen this movie you should really check it out. It is an amazing movie. Some birds aren't ment to be caged their feathers are just too bright
I gotta agree with u there Ronin, I would have to put it in my liost of all time favs. It is a movie that I can never get sick of.
I saw Shawshank recently too, very powerful. I think the best movie I've seen recently was The Lion In Winter. It came out in 1968 starring Anthony Hopkins and that one actor who plays Don Cejote from this other movie. Just about King Henry's dilemna about which one of his son's is going to take over his crown. Better than most of the movies I've seen recently.
Ronin, It looks like we have the same taste in movies, The Shawshank Redemption is also one of my favorites and saw it again recently myself. Another good movie with Morgan Freeman that I enjoyed lately was Driving Miss Daisy. Rikoshay, The Lion In The Winter it's a pretty good movie with my favorite actor that played "Don Cejote" Peter O'Toole. His best movie IMHO, although is still not released on DVD yet, is Becket also starring Richard Burton. He is IMO one of the best actors of all time. He also played in one of my favorite comedie What's New Pussycat with Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, Ursula Andress, Romy Schneider to name a few. Check those out and let me know how you like them.
Ok who's been through my 'favorit films ever' list? - [bold]AMEN[/bold]! That is my very favorite film ever! I think the whole thing was done to a clinical perfectness never matched. The cast is superb... Morgan Freeman is already magic and in this one he's even better, Tim Robbins somehow manages to equal him in terms of performance... Trully awesome. Read the book as well and then take your conclusions... Nuff said...
two for money 3/5 since it was based on true story. underclassman 3/5 I got about 2 more movies to watch tomrrow.
i found the movie Skeleton Key was pretty good for a PG rated movie. it actualy had me guessing to the very end (this is a first for me).
I finished watchin [bold]STEALTH[/bold] it was preety good but a bit too long... and slow in some parts but the planes is preety kewl I find it unfair to c Jamie Foxx's character's to die soo soon in the movie.
