Anyone seen any good movies lately?

War of the Worlds was not very good. It was decent, but all the action in the movie, you saw in the comercials. It is pretty much just a running and hiding movie, that ends terribly. Such a simple ending ruins the whole thing. The beginning eludes to how it will all end, I picked up on that, and it became a 2 hour hell trip until my theory was confirmed. Boring and obvious plot, especially the ending.

Yes actually, you get to see aliens, they do look pretty sweet. Action scenes are here and there but the caracter you follow doesn't get in on them. You mostly seen people get vaporized and some military stuff. Don't count on much. I would see it for $5 nothing more.

You see aliens in about two scenes, and they look a lot like a dumbed-down, extremely docile version of the ones in Alien. I didn't find them particularly threatening and would have gladly take on any pair--except when to do so would have given away my position to the killing machines outside.

Spielberg pretty much ripped off all of the special effects from other director's movies.

Action scenes? No, not really--not unless you consider a five-minute O.J. Simpson-style low-speed escape, a few things blowing up in the distance, some exploding people stolen from "Scanners" and two hours of running away to be "Action."

The only thing or person Cruz fought back against was a guy that was worse off than he was. What a puppy!

Gonna watch Mr and Mrs Smith tomorrow night, I'll report back my opinion. Gonna watch Batman Begins aswell.

cool, my IQ is somewhere around 300umpteenmillion, the minitor at the test site said it would take a few days to fully calculate my IQ, so i decided to take an estimate to the nearest 100 umpteenmillion. lol, its really only like 124.

 

I want to see Fantastic 4. The strange thing about that movie is the charecters names."the thing" That is the stupidest thing i had ever heard. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible woman, human torch. WHATS THAT!!!

 

Don't complain about the movie's characters names, they are based from the Marvel Comics, ever heard of em ?So if you gonna complain bout the names then complain about the comic. (No offense, might sound harsh)

I know, i was not complaining. I just meant that the marvel company ran out of ideas for there comics. The fantastic four came out before the hulk so they could have names the thing hulk. its not like i am complaining.

 

I seen Dodge ball 2 weeks ago. That movie was the funniest movie I hade ever seen.

 

Do you guys have a cheap theatre? Where I live, after movies are on the 7.50 per show theatre for so long, then they go to a theatre where you can see them a few weeks before DVD for only $1.50

$1.50 theatre rocks, are you blessed with one as well?

Lemony Snickets, entertaining but strange. I thought it would be more of a comedy. Jim Carey is certainly versitile.
