I agree with forkndave here. I have 55" Widescreen SONY HDTV with a built-in TRU Surround Sounds, my brother has a 53" Widescreen SONY HDTV with a Home Theater System (after market) and I can slightly tell a little difference with the two systems. I usually keep the 5.1 Dolby Digital and pretty much "take out/blank" all other audio, plus the DTS audio because it's MB size is almost twice as big as the ACE 5.1 Dolby Digital sounds. With that being said, it will produces a better quality pictures in results and making it a much lesser compressions needed.

However, the choice is side with the individual's preferences. DTS is indeed slightly better, but with 5.1, you can't really go wrong with a nicer quality pictures in results.

Well over the past few days i have seen a few movies sooim just gonna list them and givem a raiting...

1.London (3/10) Not bad some good intelectual dialouge but a bad storyline

2.Marksman (N/A) It wass soo bad i fell asleep in parts. I love Wesley Snipes but this movies is like buyin a coaster...

3.Animal (5.5/10) Very good basic story about father and son issues in the hood. The only thing i find is near the end of the movie they just cut too like 3yrs later and end it short... and thats not givin away the ending its just cut i felt...

    4. Boyz N Da Hood (8/10) A bloody great John Singelton movie.. He makes the best story movies i reckon and this was hes 1st one its amazing :)

    More ratings will follow...

I watched Capote... Weird...Brilliant film, don't get me wrong, but weird...

Jarhead is a must be watched film! I had a clash of opinions with another member about 20 pages ago...

Oh and DTS is nice... But just plain bog standard 5.1 surround is bassier... And i LIKE [bold]BASS[/bold]! LOL
Oh, and it takes (a lot) less room in the disc aswell...

The Incredibles is great to watch with kids- good for all ages.
Saw II - horrible acting- good plot, story
Lord of War- Best Nick Cage movie since Raising Arizona(there have been alot of bad ones COnair, Snake Eyes, 8mm, etc)
Nine Lives- weird, intense, 9 short films that tie together in one movie

Just watched V for Vendetta and The Hills Have Eyes.

V for Vendetta - Fantastic movie, especially if you "understand" the idea behind the movie. A real storyline, powerful idealogy, great entertainment overall. Especially if you're from England, they filmed on a few streets that I lived in. =D

The Hills Have Eyes - Gorefest, may be scary to some. This is one of the most fucked-up films I've seen, but you don't want to miss this one. =D If you're easily scared though, be prepared for nightmares.

I bought "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" last weekend, and my wife and I watched it a few nights ago. I have to agree with Stitch221. It was the best of the Harry Potter movies, so far.

It is funny. Harry Potter appeals to folks of all ages. I would not have thought that I would like the movies, but I do. :)
