Just watched Prime, just friends and Zathura all excellant movies.I am looking forward to watching Harry potter 4 ..have seen many good reviews.. Thanks.
Alrite, most people either strongly agree or strongly disagree... but here goes [bold]Who likes Tim Burton films?[/bold] Charlie and The Chocolate Factory (new) Corpse Bride Edward Scissorhands The Nightmare Before Christmas Big Fish Planet of The Apes (new) Mars Attacks Sleepy Hollow Batman Returns Batman Beetlejuice and the short film Vincent Just off the top of my head, there probly are alot more...
I just watched "The Devil's Rejects" and couldn't even make it through the frickin thing. I love Rob Zombie and all the work he did with White Zombie, I love the same type of horror flicks that he does and I dig seeing his girlfriend get skimpy but that movie suuuucked! I was hoping it was better than House of 1,000 Corpses (which I barely finished) but nope - not even. I also watched one called 'King of the Ants'. It was very very weird and I'm not sure if I'm better or worse for having seen it. There's plenty of brutal beatings to go around but that didn't make up for the way the iffy storyline was played out in parts. I'm waiting on Lord of War, History of Violence and Domino to come in the mail. I'm sure I'll get a kick out of the first two but I'm not expecting much from Domino other than the pleasantries that Kiera Knightly brings to the eyes (sad reason to get a film, I know).
domino, is that the guy richie one? i dunno about History of Violence but in Lord of War Nick Cage is great... hes such a good acter in most of his films... but this one,omg... his borther reminds me of Kip (also his brother in another film) from Gone in 60 Seconds (new version)... The stroyline is GREAT! the scenes are great, and the first scene is OMG F^CK!NG AWESOME! and i love the first coupla lines that nick cage says about himself... Lord of War, didnt do well at the movies... but like so much other great films it does good afterwards, like saw...
I don't listen to the reviewers either. Some of my favorite movies got trashed in the reviews - Man On Fire is a great example.
Man on Fire... thats such a great movie... and that little actress is geting alot of movies lately... ahh, dakota Fanning... shes good... in man on fire, war of the worlds... and ahh, I am Sam... i cant remember her other movies, but she is good...
I just watched "The Color of Money" I love that movie....although it really, really, really makes me want to play pool.
Yup, Dakota Fanning is going to have a looooong career if she stays away from the booze and pills that get to most of the kiddie actors. Never seen Color of Money. Of course I suck at pool so it may just make me feel worse
wagsdadog, its a movie about pool ,Tom Cruise and Paul Newman are in it Nephilim , i was kinda disspointed with "Lord Of War" its just an ok movie not one of Nick Cage best.History of Violence and Domino were both really good though
I've seen Snatch. Its harder than heck to understand a word that comes out of Brad Pitts mouth in it but its pretty good no less. I thought Lord of War was pretty good...slow yes...but still good. The Color of Money is a great movie about pool. Paul Newman is such a bada$$ in it. He puts Tom Cruise in his place...its sooo good. I just watched Elephant. Its based on the Columbine Shootings. Its very, very powerful. I also just watched Blow...I love Johnny Depp....what a pimp he is.
