    Just saw hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, it sucked, worst 1.50 I ever spent. It was way to kiddie, which I should have foresaw. ANyway, I doubt anything will surpass Batman Begins this year.

    Last one I saw was Batman Begins, not too bad. It got a little slow in some sections but was worth the price. I give it a 7 out of 10.

    Batman Begins was one of the best movies I have seen this summer. The movie that I want to see the most is The Wedding Crashers, this movie looks very funny.

    @philipman

    I have to agree with you about Batman Begins being one of the better summer movies. It has been the one I liked the best after Star Wars, so far the summer movies have been kind of a bust, have not found one that I thought was all that good. Have not seen War of the Worlds, probably will go this weekend, and will see how it stacks up.

    Watched Mr and Mrs Smith 1 hr ago, I rate it 6.5 out of 10 remember this my opinion. It was a good movie though, just not a must see.

    Mr. and Mrs. Smith had some serious holes in it. They did some stuff even too unrealistic for a movie. They were being shot at with an M203 HE, I doesn't take a 5 year sold to point a grenade launcher at someone 30 feet away and smoke them. They'd a been dead too many times (even for a movie), that was my biggest deal with the movie.

    finally watched House of Flying Daggers last nite. pretty good, though one thing i found odd near the end. the one government guy (i think he was the 'mole') had a flying dagger in his shoulder (back of shoulder) and he had a long fight with this other guy, and spent most of the time falling on his back, being spun ariound etc, but constantly falling on his back, ie onto the knife many times, not once did he flinch as the knife must have been ripping his shoulder open.

    LOL That's what i thought too.
    Ok when the guy was shooting arrow in the begging to save the girl it took him a long time to reload and shoot again. But how can 4 shot hit at the same time...

    yeah, the arrows lol. also i don't mind the silly flying bits as i've come to expect that from thses sort of movies, it makes a nice change to have some fanciful flying/jumping/special powers etc. but the knife thing was too silly. did enjoy the film though. gotta go work on my brakes now but am looking formward to seeing iron monkey after that - the tarantino edition..

    Just finished season 2, 14 episodes of The Wire. I think it is every bit as good as the Sopranos.
