    Hello,

I just posted this in the Shrink forum but not sure if it really belongs in this section so sorry if it causes any problems.

I just recently got the Aopen 1648/AAP DVD ROM drive. I installed it as a slave with the NEC3500 burner. Now when i go to open up a disc in Shrink with the AOPEN it will take longer than usual or sometimes cause DVDShrink to say 'not responding.'

The bigger problem is when pressing the backup button. When I press backup it will take a while to bring up the backup option screen. I did not have this problem when I do it with the NEC3500. I already tried changing it to master and same results.

Also when I am backing up the disc to the hard drive it sounds like the drive is winding up and winding down. It does this thru the whole process it seems. I need some advice/help on this.

    Thanks in advance.
