I've been appending some multi-part DivX files (originally split to fit on CD-R) back together using VirtualDubMod that were originally created and split using AutoGK. The 2 part files work great. I've been having trouble with the 3 part ones. Adding parts 1 & 2 or 2 & 3 results in a playable file. Appending part 3 to the 1+2 file or adding file 2+3 to the end of part one "works" (the operation is completed and the file size is about right) in VirtualDubMod, but the resulting file gives a parsing error when I try to play with the DivX player. Anyone else run into this or know how to fix? Note: These are files I created using AutoGK with DivX 5.2.1 not downloaded "questionable source" stuff.
