I can get a few games to download and play but most fail the download. Or will download but when you try to play it just comes up application error. Is there possibly a update for java on the phone, or am i missing something here?
I get this same issue about 20% of the time. I am finding out (after reading a lot of posts) that the v551 doesn't work quite right with many of the games that claim to be Vxxx compatible. I found that when I load games that I find from sites that have games specifically for Motorola Vxxx phones that about 1/2 of them work. Of the 1/2 that don't work, it's either due to the application error (the one you seem to be getting) or it's from games that load just fine, but when I run them the soft keys (the upper left and right buttons) are not recognized by the game and I get stuck when using the game.
