are there any new problems with the boxes

the boxes are going down again in ireland , has anyone else had this problem, even when i put codes in manually they wont work, anyone any ideas

 

All my boxes are fine, all me mates boxes are fine, all me family`s boxes are fine. BTW, why dont you change the thread title before you start a panic.

 

sorry noelyf not trying to cause a panic, just that ive had a few calls saying that their boxes are gone down again, no signal coming upon the screen

 

No bother mate, no need to apologise, some people jump the gun & panic
If its saying no signal, then the cc could be carrying out work.
Are they roughly around the same area?

EDIT - I know n*l have been replacing old cable with new ones in my area today.

 

sometimes a switch off on at back of box is all it needs

ive tried that and still no joy,, no problem with cable ,, just mmds boxes

 

i turned my THE BOX on last night and it said updating goto 150% then info bar shows full green bar then it updates again

i updated to the new yr eve file to see if it would help but still nope , i am in birmingham , i am going to try downgrade it then back again , any info would be loved and used

 

try doing a set default key,menu1570 set default key - ok -exit out.
