area provider

    Just sent a eurovox to the son who lives in london.He is on virgin who is the provider telewest,ntl,or one off the others,need to know before going through instalation with him.Thanks in advance.

    why don't you just ask him? it does not really matter anyway as it will work with n*l or telepest areas, they are just on different symbol rates.

    So whos symbol rate do i use as they are both different by the information i have.

    actually i don't think its called sybol rate but basicly when you go on installation to scan for channels before you scan you got to either choose either 6.952 which is telepest or 6.887 which is n*l, just try both its the best thing to do if your not sure.

    Or as said a full powerscan will search all available TPs and therefore you dont need to know who the provider is.
