I F'd up on softmodding, the action replay MC probly corrupted the installer but now I have a problem. I get error 13 and when I try to hotswap the hdd, the led stays green for a while then I get error code 7 and xplorer360 doesnt detect the drive. I hooked the hdd back up to the xbox before I shut it off so it doesnt mess that up, but I dont know what to do now.

 

your not unplugging the ide at the right time when you get the error 7, try unpluging it when the first red light flashes

 

What's up y'all. I have a simple question about the aid 4.01 disc. Does it contain the 5960 dash? Or the option to install the dash is only a short cut, when selected it'll install the MS Dash backup I've created found in E:\backup?

well i got a old xbox for really cheap (for free)
my neigboor moved and just gave it to me it had al the wires and everything
but it does not read any disk no music or games
it used to cuz there are some songs and some save block things on it but it doesnt read anymore
is there any way i can fix this

 

try opening the xbox and taking apart the disk drive and cleaning the laser lense thing, if that doesnt work you could get a new disk drive from ebay.

You can't. Linksbox is the only browser for the xbox and it sucks.

 

What partition and folder do I put the SID 4.0 installer and the linux profile for splinter cell in when I am doing a hotswap, instead of using action replay?

ok well heres the thing im a total newb i picked up a modded xbox thru a deal. all i know is when it loads up its got evoX. it has the dvd2xbox app and a 200gig hdd. heres my question.... can i get an emulator or sumthing to play 360 games on my xbox?? and basically anything u can tell me would be great as in... loading games and all that great stuff. i have read a few things on here tryin to learn but im still a bit sketchy on the fact anyone that can help lemmie know

They cant because 360 games require a better processor, vidio card, ram, and that sorta stuff

i currently own a linksys wired router and im planning to buy the linksys WRTP54G VOIP wireless router because i have Vonage. i am also interested in buying an xbox 360 and the xbox wireless network adapter for it. is it possible to play on xbox live wirelessly using the linksys WRTP54G VOIP wireless router? If not please tell me what i should get so i can keep my vonage connection and still play wirelessly on the xbox 360?
