    Hi
I am trying to create a dvd out of a 544x320 avi file.
Suppos I'd like to keep th 16:9 aspect ratio, which resolution should the output mpg should have ?
I know dvd is 720x540 (PAL), but this has a different AR than the original file, and I wouldn't like to change that.

    thanks,
    popo

Thank you all for the answer, but maybe I didn't explain enough:
What happens if I only add black borders around the original movie (bottom, top, left and right)? Will it be shown all over my 4:3 tv (except for bottom, top black borders)?
I tries that with another 640x320 movie and it did. But I am not sure about this resolution.

Hope I made myself clearer this time.

    thanks,
    popo
