ASPI layer

    I am trying to rip dvd's and i can't so I was wondering where can I get one.... and is it needed to rip dvd's I am new that this....

    If you are runnign WindowsXP, then your machine does not have a preinstalled ASPI layer. You can use this program to check if you have one or not:

    h**p://www.doom9.org/Soft21/SupportUtils/aspichk.rar

    If you do not have the correct setup, there are numerous places to download it. Check out Afterdawn's software section and you will probably find what you need.

    Make sure you have the most up-to-date ASPI layer as this will help to make your drive run smoothly :D
