    guys, a quick question.
    what's the best tool for installing ASPI on my Win XP system?
    and in newbie terms, what does it do?

    Download ASPI from this website and use the instructions that come with it.

    For mice --- Before you start installing ASPI, go to google.com and type in 'ASPI' and select a site that defines what ASPI does for reading digital audio. Then visit sites to learn the recommendations for installing in XP. This just might save you from system crash grief. I am not an expert on ASPI but I did do some reading on this and decided that if I need ASPI then the program that I am using should install it or instruct me to install it. lol
