    Hi fellas,

I just want to know what cards I could crossfire with my old Ati hd3870, I'm a bit out of touch with the new computer world as you can tell from my old rig I've dusted off. Can it be crossfire with any later Ati cards?

    Thank you
    Dave

hey dave.im afraid running these old cards in crossfire is only an excercise.almost any modern gpu will outperform them.but,if your like me and love screwing with old hardware i say why not.i run an old phenom triple core overclocked and an hd4870 so who am i to say.lol

    thanks for the reply.

I ended up buying another hd3870 its just for abit of fun really for my old machine I keep at me better halfs place. I installed some cod games on it but they won't play on full (not far off) so its just for a tinker and playing about with crissfire and over clocking really. I picked one up for less than 20 quid and picked up 4gb of ocz gold for 20 quid so all in all budget upgrades that I'm more that happy with lol
