I have this older ATI TV Wonder Ve video capture card.
    http://www.ati.com/products/tvwonderve/
I ran a coax cable from my satellite to my ati card since I use the svideo to my tv in the living room.
I get video but no sound. I thought coax carried sound also?

Is this card capable of helping me broadcast my tv signal over my wireless network?

I bought the wintv pvr 150 hauppauge card but have not installed it yet as I want to see if I can make this card work first.

Would anyone have any info on this?

    Thanks,
    Amber

I have the same video card. On the back of the card there is a black cable with 4 wires: 2 RCA plugs, 1 S-Video and a 1/4" male plug. Try plugging the 1/4" male plug into the line in on your computers sound card. Try that and it should fix your sound problem.
