    Hi,
I converted an avi file to DVD using the guide mentioned on this site. I can play the DVD fine on WinDVD. But, the [bold] audio is distorted on my stand alone JVC DVD player[bold]. I used DVD+R media for this prupose, which is recognized by my JVC player.
    Anybody seen this problem?
    Thanks
    tommy

If you followed the guide then you have MP2 audio ye? perhaps your DVD player needs ac3 audio.

If you find a program like AC3Machine or even better, AC3Enc (the version that comes with Sonic Scenarist) you can encode to AC3 from an MPA (or WAV) audio file. the AC3 file will be more compliant then!
