audio file will not burn

    i have an audio file im trying to put on a regular 700mb cd the file is mp3 format and is only 64mb i've tried using nero and WMP and both programs say the file will not fit, does anyone have any suggestions to why this is happening, thanks for any help

    it may well be that the file doesnt fit on the disc. although its only 64 mb if it is longer than 80Mins then it wont fit on the disc unless you make an mp3 cd.

    thank you for pointing that out the file is longer than 80 minutes how would i go about making it into an mp3 cd
