No, I cant highlight them, i just discovered something, i cant hear anything at all now, not even the click of my mouse, nor the starting of windows. This problem is getting worse every second. Hmmm... what should i do?
Wate, i did it, i just pressed the backspace and one deleted, im going to delete all of them, and restart my pc to see if it works.
You said that you have a newer PC, since a few months ago. Don't you have the install disks that came with it? If not, do a search for your PC manufacturer and model and once on their site, find support for you PC. It will include drivers and manuals as well.
No, it didn't come with the cds. Ok, I searched and i downloaded some drivers, and even installed them, but when i go to sound, video and game controllers, they are not there. Also, the speaker in the system tray still doesnt appear.
Last suggestion, if you are having this much of a problem, purchase a new sound card, (most can be under $20,) that will come with their own drivers and a fresh install. If your MB has the sound built into it, I would suggest going through their tech support to try and fix it. You need the hardware, the drivers, and an install for sound to function and also to have NO other software conflict with those drivers. Obviously you are having either hardware or driver/software conflicts.
