just did my first svcd to dvd from mpg file on the hard drive. used mpg2vcr to join - dvdlab pro to compile and author as per the exellent guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/svcd_to_dvdr_from_img.cfm well when i play the finished disk on my computer it works fine. on my stand alone through the coax in the audio skips. video is fine. if i use the analog in to play back audio that works fine also. now the svcds that i made from these files play fine through the coax in. is ther a trick i am missing? thank you for any tips lance
well this cable works for pre-mqde dvds and my home made svcds so i just cannot believe it's the cable lance
it could be the settings in which you burned it just the 5.1 channel or somthing try playing with the settings I know you can w/ dvd shrink
Ahhhh lets see it plays fine through every other cable and player just not through the coax cable?? hmmm
so let me explain a little further i ripped and created svcds with dvd2svcd i now have a bunch of muxed mpgs from those sessions i want to put these muxed mpgs on dvds i used mpeg2vcr to join the files and dvdlab pro to demux and recompile trans code the audio also i also tried to use besweet to transcode the audio all of the dvds i have made with dvddecrypter and dvdshrink work fine, all the svcds i made workfine if i use the coax in on my theatre set up in surround mode the audio skips if i use the coax in on my theatre set up in 2 channel mode the audio is fine but no sub (normal) these two options tell me i have an mpeg input if i use the analog inputs to my theatre system it shows me i have prologic and it works fine with the sub lance
