I edited a movie in VirtualDub just to put on it subtitles, it´s an AVI, i load the subtitles filter and everything works fine. i select compression and choose Xvid MPEG-4 Codec, i saved as AVI, and when i played the sound was not sync, at the beginning audio starts a little soon, like 2 seconds, at the first quearter it delays and plays like 4 seconds late, at the half is like 2 seconds late, and in the end of the movie it comes like 2 seconds before the audio, This is Creepy!!!, i really need to know whats happening, i rode as much threads i can no answer, PLEASE HELP

If the AVI has VBR try compressing the audio to CBR (I use Lame MP3) and the Video as Direct Stream Copy then save the file then try the subs again
