automatic code rolling?

HI all,

First - please don't take the tone of this post the wrong way. I am delighted that a friend put me onto this decoder box and that you guys are doing a great job in giving me an up to date codes whenever they change them. Sincerely, thank you all for that.

But, wasn't the new version of the firmware meant to keep the codes rolling over automatically? Cause it sure isn't doing that for me.

Did this feature just not pan out? Or is it that the goalposts have been moved and the software needs to catch up? Or could it be that I need to have cable internet for that to work?

Any update on this would be appreciated.

i am guessing that when you say it didn't autoroll it says on screen "data is being updated 0%" if that is whats happening go to the main menu press 1570 and press "set default key" go back to a channel and it should update.

to test it why don't ya just go into the keys and change a few of them around, then exit and see if it scans for the new ones

 

if you press set default key it does the same thing.

 

ya tried that on my own i did ryan an saw it changed the codes..
in your sig the 2.57, that does auto key rolling does it yea?

yeah the 2.57 thats in my sig does autoroll.
