    Hi

I've got an avi that I have separated the audio from (.wav) using Virtualdub and am at the moment using TMPGEnc to join the audio & video together to make an mpeg (mpeg-1 ntsc I think - my dvd player will play anything lol).

The thing is, it told me the frame rate was 14.987 (or something) and yes I know that is pretty crap, but Im not too worried about great quality for this avi - its rare so just to have it is a bonus lol

Once I have the .mpg file (with the TMPGEnc) can I use Nero to burn it? Or do I need to use TMPGEnc DVDAuthor to do more converting etc?

Hope this is clearer than mud ...... basically I have got an avi & want to convert it to mpeg-something to play on standalone dvd player on a dvd+r disc .... I know I could put it onto cd-r, but Im a lazy git & have got loads of spare dvd+r discs lol

Cheers & sorry for the essay!

1.Select your AVI in TMPGEnc and demux.
2.Re-encode the video to DVD spec.
3.Remux back and then use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make the DVD files
    4.Burn using Nero.

    Done :D
