avi prob with nero....upside down and can't read memory

    i am trying to get some avi's that i have onto vcd.....one does convert and burn but comes out upside down....the other says it cannot read the memory.....please help...thanx in advance for the help

    You should NEVER use Nero to convert your AVI files to Mpeg1/VCD, Nero is well known for useing one of the worst Mpeg encoder on the Planet...
    Try useing Tmpgenc or the MainConcept Encoder to convert your AVI files to Mpeg1/VCD and then you can take the Mpeg1/VCD File and Burn it to VCD useing Nero but do not let it convert the file just Burn the file....

    WOW....there is still life in afterdawn.....i had to figure that out on my own....but a whole-hearted "thanking you" for being the only person to reply....i really do appreciate it

    btw....i guess it doesn't help my video efforts when i have a celeron 1.2 GHZ and 256 SDRAM, huh?....lol
