avi to dvd player conversion ??

    I HAVE GOT MOVIE ONTO DVD DISC BUT THE DVD PLAYER WILL NOT PLAY MOVIE.WILL PLAY ON COMPUTER ONLY.PLEASE HELP.

    you need to do 1 of 2 things here! get a dvd player that can play avi! or change the avi to compatible files for your dvd!

    OK BUT HOW DO I CHANGE IT FROM AVI FILES TO SOMETHING COMPATIBLE?

    no probs ozze

    use a free app called divxtodvd! load the avi (if you got 2 for 1 movie load both avi in!) then let it run! it will output vob/ifo/bup files place these in nero rom useing tab button ADD-VIDEO, now nero will make a folder called VIDEO_TS put the vob/ifo/bup files inside and burn to dvdr!

    that should be kool!

    When you type in all caps it's considered shouting and as well rude. We actually have a forum rule that tells us not to type in all caps....

    Hi Ozze

    I was in the same situation as you. There is a nice guide here that will enable you to take your AVI files and convert them to DVD files ready to Burn onto DVD. Check out the GUIDES tab top of the screen. It takes you step by step. Goodluck.
