AVI to DVD-R

    I am a complete newbie to this concept, can somebody tell me how i can put an AVI video file onto a DVD-R.

    There are a lot of programs you can use, you can try nero express and it will encode em for you, it takes an entire day, but i haven't had a problem yet...

    You could also use TMPGEnc to encode to Mpeg2 and then TMPGEnc DVD Authorto encode to VOB.
